Christmas

Christmas is nearly upon us

I would like to share this offering with you lovely crafters out there.

Using a cream A4 piece of linen card, with a dark red layer with corners punched using an EK success punch, with light cream insert that has been randomly stamped using fired brick distress inks and with a light brushing of scattered straw.

The stamped image is personal impressions (P1341) and fired brick and scattered straw ink pads, the corners have been rounded with a punch, before being mounted on gold mirrored card.

The hymn is from my computer and has been distressed with scattered straw, corners rouned and mounted on gold.

Happy Christmas  stamped and embossed with gold, and rounded and mounted.

The holly is from cricuts "Joys of the Season" and finished with gold gems.

Shine a light

Shine a light

Had an odd tumbler in the cupboard
decided it needed binning,
but thought "hello, might be able to alter its use
and enter a couple of challenges."
Great with a tea light or as a pen holder on the desk.

The pattern has been worked on a single sheet of parchment then fixed to a coloured sheet before being attached to the tumbler.

Got the pattern from "Parchment Craft" magazine.

Collage art

Collage Art

This is my attempt at collage art

It's an A4 piece of hammered white card.

I used distress ink (victorin velvet) through a piece of sequin waste for the background.

2 flowers cut from my cricut, 1 gem, red string for the top embelishment. Lace ribbon, scrap paper with latin and distressed (walnut stain).A digi stamp matted on white and black. I used the sequin waste and a piece waste from cutting 200 holes on the cricut. A black tag, peel off and florists ribbon to finish this masterpiece.

Just for you

Been away for awhile, when I say away I've been decorating really.

I think I may have finished but you never can tell.

The 2 larger butterflies are first stamped on the base card and then onto velum and embossed, then decoupaged.

The smaller butterfly is done on shrink plastic.

All in all I've used 4 stamps.
